This is where it all began, for me

On February 18, 2006 11 Saints met at my home in Nanchang to begin what would become NanchangDestiny. As I write this today, most of the Chinese students you will see here have graduated and begun their carers in other cities. Several are in Shanghai working for businesses. Eleven who came later are now missionaries in France. One is a nurse in London. And one of the three Indian medical students is furthering his studies in Hebei Province. (Peter and Vimezo are still here, and we continue our fellowship.)

In October 2006 we moved from my home to our new building on the 7th floor of a building near my university. Pastor Immanuel suggested that we call it The Great Commission Center, and so we dedicated it as such on October 14, 2006. The building is still there, but Ministry has now moved to other parts of Nanchang.

Dinner

After Baptism we went to dinner at a little restaurant, near my home. Beauty of living in CHina: we fed 18 people for less than 200 yuan (@ $25 U. S.)

Emissaries

Some of these are nanchang students about to embark on a journey to France, where they will continue their studies for 2 years.
