Dinner

After Baptism we went to dinner at a little restaurant, near my home. Beauty of living in CHina: we fed 18 people for less than 200 yuan (@ $25 U. S.)

Migrant

Sara brings a blind street person with her. He tells his story, and sings for us. I recognize him from Zhongshan Road near the park bridge, and further down the street near Wal-Mart. He has a very moving and impressive testimony.

Road map

On the first day of our service Pastor Immanuel showed everyone the evangelism vision for Nanchang ... on a map that he had given to me as a gift the Satudray that I met him and Sara for the first time.

You will notice on this map that the city was at that time divided into 27 "Ministry Zones." Pastor Immanuel informed me when I first met him that there were fellowships in 16 of the 27 zones; and asked me to pray that God would send more workers into the Harvest, so that we might reach the other places not yet covered.

Today - thanks in large part to Immanuel's rleentless spirit, love for the Gospel, and for the people of China - there are more "territories" extending as far away as Jingdezhen and Anhui Province.

The foggy photograph here is the one taken at our Inaugural Fellowship, on February 18, 2006. Recently I found this map again - it had been missing for several months - and took a some new pictures, so it will be clearer to the reader.

Di Wang Guang Chang - my home - is in section 14. It is circled here, though, because when I met Immanuel his home - and home fellowship - were also located in the same section.

The Beginning -- February 18, 2006

Nanchang Destiny started as a small gathering of 11 friends from Nanchang (and one very special friend who came from Shanghai to join us). We shared food and our own individual thoughts, and got to know a little about each others' hometowns.
